It's Halloween time and that means Unsavory Cinema is gonna give you a good old fashioned slasher movie! It's gonna be Jason X, the tenth film in the Friday the 13th franchise. Perhaps better titled "Jason in Space", Jason X is about what happens when an underpayed crew of Canadians try to smash four different sci-fi sets together and pretend to be on a spaceship while a hulking machete zombie kills them. Jason also fights a robot, gets reconstructed as a cyborg, and is briefly trapped in a lampshading holodeck. This is gonna be a fun one, and you were gonna watch horror films this month anyway, so come on down to Unsavory Cinema!
